Vapour Barrier Membrane
Ekovilla Smart X is a vapour barrier membrane with variable water vapour resistance. Unlike traditional vapour barrier plastics, the water vapour resistance of the Smart X membrane changes depending on the surrounding relative air humidity.
It allows the structures to dry inwards when the relative humidity rises. This feature reduces the risk of moisture condensation inside the structures and improves the fault tolerance of structures compared to vapour barrier plastic.
Ekovilla Smart X vapour barrier membrane is used as internal air and vapour barrier for walls, ceilings and floors insulated by fibrous insulation material.
