Ekovilla SD 5 Pro is a mesh-reinforced vapor control layer tailored for applications requiring robust strength performance, while not necessarily needing moisture variability or a high diffusion resistance.
Applications
The reinforced structure of the SD 5 Pro makes it ideal for cavity blowing applications in walls and roofs/attics. It is suitable for most insulation materials.
Installation
SD 5 Pro is quick and easy to install due to its mesh reinforcement. It is available in pre-folded form which makes installation extremely fast and effective. Furthermore, the transparency of the fabric facilitates attachment to timber frame elements.
The membrane is fixed by stapling at 200 mm intervals. The joints are overlapped 100–200 mm and joint durability is ensured by Ekovilla X Sealing tape.
