Air Barrier Paper
Ekovilla X5 is a fabric-reinforced air barrier paper for breathable structures. It is used as an internal air barrier, especially with hygroscopic insulations such as cellulose. Ekovilla X5 air barrier makes it easy to build completely airtight buildings ensuring good indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
Product Information
X5 air barrier is used as internal air barrier for walls, ceilings and floors in breathable structures insulated by hygroscopic insulation material. Due to its strength properties and small elongation, it is an ideal choice for air-injected cavity insulation.
Installation
Ekovilla X5 is quick and easy to install. It withstands handling without tearing and can be installed even in difficult locations owing to its fabric reinforcement.
The air barrier is fixed by stapling at 200 mm intervals. The joints are overlapped 200 mm or according to construction guidelines, and joint durability is ensured by Ekovilla X Sealing tape.
